Phase-tunable electron transport assisted by odd-frequency Cooper pairs in topological Josephson junctions

We consider a finite-size topological Josephson junction formed at the edge of two-dimensional insulator in proximity to conventional superconductors and study impact Cooper pair symmetries on electron transport. find that, due finite size, transport is highly tunable by superconducting phase difference $\ensuremath{\phi}$ across junction. At zero frequency $\ensuremath{\phi}=\ensuremath{\pi}$, setup exhibits vanishing local Andreev reflection perfect normal transmission interplay size formation bound states middle reveal that this striking behavior enables odd-frequency pairs become only type pairing inside contribute Our paper thus offers detection scheme for pairs.
